Memorial Weekend

Hello and Happy New Year,  

As of January 1, our signed bills from 2025 have officially taken effect as state law. My work in those areas -- cracking down on those who attempt to buy children for sex and supporting survivors, promoting responsible AI development and speeding up access to mental health care -- will continue in the year ahead.

I look forward to taking on other tough issues and finding ways to improve our region and make life better for the people who call this wonderful place home. We’ll continue to share updates as the year gets under way.

I was sworn in as your Assemblymember in December. I feel lucky and grateful to represent Assembly District 6, which encompasses most of the city of Sacramento, as well as Rio Linda, Antelope, Arden-Arcade, Carmichael, Elverta and La Riviera.
